Calvary Chapel Thomasville supports both local and international missions and outreaches. Locally, we have come alongside mother Earlean Douglas and the Rescue Mission of Thomasville with financial, prayer and physical assistance. Since 2008 This ministry has run a soup kitchen that has fed hundreds of homeless each day.
Calvary also supports missionaries in foreign countries.
Patrick & Barb Lataillade are missionaries to Haiti. They joke that they have “given an arm and a leg” for the ministry. Amazingly this is true as both lost a limb in the recent earthquake. And yet, with faith and spirits high they continue to make frequent trips to Haiti and minister to the severe needs there.
Isaac & Clea Wootton with their children (Nehemiah, Ezekiel, Hosanna, Elijah & Nili) along with Clea’s mother Connie Rose are missionaries to Uganda, Africa. Isaac & Clea attended our sister church, Calvary Chapel of Tallahassee, FL, prior to being called into the mission field. In addition to working at the Fort Portal Calvary Chapel, Isaac has established a School of Ministry – training men from surrounding countries to become pastors and missionaries. Greg & Beverly Wootton are missionaries to Kenya, Africa. Parents of Isaac Wootton they now have established Bible Training Centers in Kitale, Kenya and in surrounding areas.
